Micro Pantalone

Pantalone is one of the best-known masks of the Commedia dell’Arte, he is from Venice and speaks a musical and straightforward Venetian dialect. The origins of his name remain unclear. It may come from “pianta leoni” (those who set up the lion flag), the name of the Venice merchants who used to set up the San Marco lion flag on their stalls, as they moved from one town to another.
