Micro Cat with Boots

“Necessity is the mother of all inventions … even for cats”. The cat is a typical character of Aesop and Phaedrus’ fables and he is ubiquitous in bestiaries of the Middle Ages: however, the cleverest and most intelligent fairy-tale cat is undoubtedly the “in-boots” one, which French writer Perrault created in 1680. It is in this tale that the best qualities of cats are brought out: cunning, clearness of mind and quickness of thought, all of which are aimed at turning each situation in the cat’s own favour.
